The Meadow Lake Tribal Council is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the full-time, permanent position of Manager for the Mistahey Musqua Treatment Centre (MMTC). The MMTC Manager is responsible and accountable to the Community Wellness Director for the organization, management, supervision, and service delivery of the MMTC Treatment Program. This position has the mandate to run MMTC within the policies, plans, and overall direction established by the MLTC Health & Social Development department. The MMTC is located on the Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation.
MMTC Philosophy: The philosophy of the Mistahey Musqua Treatment Centre is to promote an addiction free lifestyle and to enhance the health and well-being of our First Nation communities by providing holistic (physical, emotional, mental & spiritual) counseling services in the area of prevention, treatment and aftercare.
Duties (include but not limited to):
Reporting on a regular basis on all aspects of the management and treatment services provided.
Planning, implementation, and evaluation of the treatment services, the organization and the operations of the MMTC.
Incorporate the MLTC-HSD ten (10) year Health Plan and the accreditation process into MMTC program planning.
Include recommendations on appropriate policy and procedural changes required to provide proper management and treatment within the Centre.
To ensure operational and treatment plans are prepared, coordinated and presented for approval.
To ensure the required standards of treatment service delivery and the procedures governing all aspects of the operations are developed, documented and approved.
To maintain good working relations and an active liaison with all professionals, organizations, community groups, and individuals directly or indirectly involved in the operations of the MMTC.
