Description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Indian Cuisine Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of traditional Indian cooking techniques, spices, and regional dishes. You will be responsible for preparing a variety of delicious and authentic Indian dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare a wide range of authentic Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori items, biryanis, vegetarian dishes, breads (naan, roti), and desserts, according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food preparation is done in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Maintain a clean and organized work station, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
Assist in inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and informing the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager of any shortages.
Properly handle and store all food items according to health and safety regulations.
Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
Assist in menu development and recipe testing as needed.
Ensure consistent food quality and presentation for all dishes.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Be knowledgeable about different regional Indian cuisines and their specific cooking methods.
Prepare customized dishes according to guest requests and dietary restrictions, when possible.
Assist with plating and garnishing dishes for an appealing presentation.
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is cooked thoroughly and to the correct specifications.
