What We Do
Zak's Building Group is comprised of two main divisions: the Construction Division and the Retail Division. The Construction Division specializes in a variety of building projects, including residential construction such as ready-to-move and on-site homes and cottages. It also handles agricultural structures like barns, shops, and pole buildings, as well as commercial design-build projects. The Retail Division operates several Home Hardware Building Centres located in Hague, Warman, and on Central Avenue and 51st Street in Saskatoon.

Position
We have an immediate opening for Full-Time, Material Estimator, working out of our Warman location.

Key Responsibilities
Reviewing Tender Documents
Material estimating for concrete, wood construction, steel construction, and interior finishings
Take-offs for residential, agricultural, and commercial projects
Use of MiTek software and Microsoft Excel for 3D project modelling and quantity estimates
Use of point-of-sale software for bill of materials and delivery slips
Assist With Updating Drawings, Specifications and Quantity Takeoffs

Qualifications
Engineering-In-Training, Engineering Technologist, Architectural Technologist
Construction industry experience
Strong computer experience
Excellent work ethic
Work well with others and independently
Holds a high standard of quality on all work
Blue Beam REVU, Revit or CAD
MS Office
