North Ridge Development Corporation, Saskatchewans leading home builder, is seeking a Service & Warranty Manager to join our Saskatoon team.
Primary Responsibilities:
Apply North Ridges warranty and Saskatchewan New Home Warranty to review and approve service requests.
Direct Warranty Technician(s) at site as to how to proceed and what is and is not covered under warranty.
Discuss Service Requests not covered by North Ridges warranty program with Vice President of Construction to resolve.
Work to resolve issues with customers prior to sending to New Home Warranty.
Work with Vice President of Construction to set and track warranty budget.
Conduct weekly warranty meetings.
Conduct weekly Toolbox training sessions with warranty staff.
Conduct training on new standards and products.
Conduct training of new personnel in Warranty Department.
Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in the Warranty program.
Identify and recommend changes to products and workmanship.
Review and approve staff timesheets.
Complete Vehicle Maintenance Report on a monthly basis.
Manage performance of direct reports.
Resolve problems/issues in an effective and timely manner.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
General knowledge of building, electrical, and plumbing.
5+ years of carpentry, renovation/home improvement experience.
2 years of experience in a management position.
Ability to read house plans.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Valid drivers license, insurable by North Ridge.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient time management and organizational skills.
Customer-focused and customer-driven.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions from hot to cold.
