Working closely with the HOMEBASE team & reporting directly to the Director of Homebase, the Job Coach will be responsible for the development & implementation of education & employment programming within HOMEBASE Moose Jaw.

Responsibilities:
Develop & deliver engaging youth orientated education & employment programming.
Assisting youth with developing essential skills for the workplace, including resume building, interview preparation, & workplace etiquette.
Regularly communicate with youth throughout their academic journey primarily via outbound communication tools & methods
Assist youth in identifying areas of interest for education & employment. Work with youth to apply for post-secondary & explore alternative options.
Assist youth in setting & achieving academic goals, developing effective study habits, & managing their time effectively.
Monitor & check student progress & provide feedback on performance, identifying areas for improvement & potential roadblocks.
Develop & deliver workshops & resources on academic success, study skills, & time management.

Qualifications
Completion of a diploma or Degree in education, social sciences or other Career Professionals of Canada (CPC) Certification or International Coaching Federation (ICF) Certification considered an asset
3-5 years experience working as job coach working with youth
Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check prior to employment offer
Valid Driver's license
Must be available evenings & weekends
