Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be great at sales and customer friendly with a great personality. Have experience in preparing cost estimates for labour and materials, responding to RFPs and tenders, and working closely with various stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
Company will provide vehicle, parking free and must a class five driver's license.

Key Responsibilities

- Respond to RFPs and tenders with accurate and competitive estimates.

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for labour and/ or materials, and
  other project-related expenses.

- Track progress and quality of work being performed by
  subcontractors, suppliers and field trades.

- Liaise and communicate with engineers, architects, and owners,
  contractors, and subcontractors, as well as make changes and
  Adjustments to cost estimates.

- Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work
  requirements.

. Computer and Technology Knowledge

- Have strong computer knowledge as it relates to
  MS Excel
  MS Word
  Xactimate
  Auto CAD
  OST software and project management tools.


. Experience in project size estimating from $0 - $4,000,000.00.


. Area of Specialization

- Coordinate/Manage Projects
- Scheduling
- Do site visits and measure various different-sized projects, both
  residential and commercial.
