Job Title:      Youth Care Worker, Full Time Temporary
Program:      Adolescent Group Home
Hours:      150 hours per 4-week period            
Start Date:     May 21, 2025 to September 26, 2026
SIGN is seeking a motivated, empathetic, and youth centred individual, to work with the Program Manager, Case Management Supervisor and other staff in fulfilling the overall objectives of the home. The position will assist in the development and implementation quality programming that will enhance the personal, educational, emotional, and social development of the youth living in the home.

Expectations:
    Overall case management for one or more youth
    Compliance to case plans for each resident, and their special considerations and instructions
    Assess, evaluate, plan, and revise youth care/support as directed by the AGH Program Manager or AGH Case Management Supervisor
    Work well and cooperate with the team members in order to ensure efficiency of care and support for youth
    Protect the health and safety of others by adopting safe work practices
    Collaborate and communicate with coworkers and youth to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate youth care
    Help to ensure that the nutritional and health requirements of all residents are met
    Plan, teach and participate in social and recreation opportunities for youth residents
    Efficiently complete required paperwork in written format and with Microsoft Office
Qualifications and experience:
    The energy, aptitude and consideration to support youth while working well with a team
    Experience working with youth and/ or in a residential setting
    Post-secondary education and/ or training relevant to the position would be an asset
    A recent (6 months or less), clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
    Valid drivers license
