Description

The Organizational Development Specialist enhances the company's strategic direction by designing and delivering talent programs that build workforce capabilities, support succession planning, and promote knowledge transfer. This role drives employee growth, engagement, and retention by aligning development initiatives with business priorities. As a key link between the People & Communications team and broader organizational goals, the specialist fosters continuous improvement and innovation to ensure the organization remains competitive, agile, and future-ready. Our company values and recognizes the diversity of the workforce and encourages individuals with the equivalent combination of education and work experience. The ideal candidate will have:

- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Adult Education or related field (or equivalent combination of education and working experience).
- Minimum of 8-10 years of Human Resources experience in the learning & development field (program development including Change Management, needs analysis, design, validation, implementation and evaluation); experience working in operations functions an asset.
- CPHR or other related professional certification an asset.
- Ability to create and implement scalable talent development and succession planning solutions.
- Strong presentation, coaching, and communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.


Employment is subject to successfully completing KSPCs pre-employment checks which may include criminal record check, education verification, functional fitness evaluation and drug and alcohol testing.

This is a term position extending to December 31, 2026.
