Description

Why eHealth?
We may be biased, but eHealth Saskatchewan is the place to be right now! As the result of a province wide consolidation of IT services in the health care sector, we have seen substantial growth in our organization that is only going to increase as we aim to meet our expanded mandate and the immense need for our support. This gives our people a unique and rare opportunity to truly create, build, improve, and leave their mark on a growing organization.

The Information Analyst Role:
eHealth Saskatchewan is seeking an experienced analyst to conceptualize, design, develop, and enhance present and anticipated program needs through custom reporting. Reporting to the Manager - Surgical and Tertiary Care Services, this position will be responsible for report generation, advanced querying techniques, providing data extractions, and reporting solutions for applications with an emphasis on data quality aspects & data quality scorecards. You will work to identify and resolve data quality issues discovered. In addition to extracting reports from a variety of systems and from the integration of those systems, you will also be responsible for liaising with a broad spectrum of stakeholders. You will work collaboratively with Data Warehouse and other Data Quality team members to build solutions within the corporate architecture framework. Other responsibilities will include troubleshooting and resolving incidents for various existing production reporting/data solutions and assisting with planning and technology changes or upgrades in a complex integrated environment.

Our ideal candidate would have gained the knowledge and skills required for this position through the completion of a post-secondary (diploma or degree) in computer science, health informatics, or a related discipline supplemented with a minimum of 2 years working experience with analytics and reporting in a complex work environment.
