The Role
Reporting to the Training Coordinator, you will be responsible to develop new and update existing training programs by utilizing Camecos Systematic Approach to Training (SAT). You will consult with key stakeholders to develop this training curriculum and deliver on plans to meet the operations needs. Using adult learning principles, you will deliver training programs to site employees and contractors. This is a temporary position with an expected duration of 12 months.
In this role, you will:
-Be responsible for the delivery of safety-related training to site personnel through a variety of methods, providing coaching and feedback, evaluating on-the-job performance while identifying training gaps, and providing general support to the training team as required.
-Maintain good communication and co-operation with various sites, departments and stakeholders to ensure regulatory training requirements and operational goals are achieved.
-Support Camecos Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) through various administrative functions.
-Assist with the maintenance of Camecos Learning Management System (LMS).
-Continuously identify opportunities for improvement.
Required:
-Diploma in a related field.
-Minimum four years of relevant work experience.
-An equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered.
-Strong organization, presentation and communication skills are essential.
-Strong computer skills and knowledge of computer programs (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
-Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
Recommended:
-Previous industrial work experience
-Working knowledge of adult learning principles, adult education.
-Certification as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional.
-Understand all aspects of the Systematic Approach to Training and be able to perform these functions.
-Experience in SAP.
