Now Hiring: Engineering Assistant II  Roadways Capital Operations

Start Date: June 2, 2025

Build your career while helping build your city! The City of Regina is looking for a motivated Engineering Assistant II to join our Roadways Capital Operations team. This hands-on role supports construction projects through technical fieldwork, lab testing, data analysis, and quality assurance.

What Youll Do:
Collect and test construction materials (e.g., asphalt, aggregates)

Perform data entry, reporting, and statistical analysis

Ensure quality control in field and lab settings

Collaborate with crews and respond to public inquiries

What Youll Bring:
Grade 12 or GED + 2 relevant post-secondary courses

2+ years of experience in construction, engineering, or technical operations

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, etc.)

Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills

Valid Class 5 Drivers License & access to a vehicle (travel allowance provided)

Field & lab work in variable conditions
PPE required | Physical work | Overtime may be required
Criminal record check & proof of education required
