ABOUT THE ROLE
Join our team to lead and coordinate all aspects of facilities and safety across College properties from day-to-day operations and maintenance to long-term capital planning and project delivery. Youll work closely with senior leadership, government partners and contractors to ensure our campuses are safe, efficient and well-maintained.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement facility policies, budgets and annual operating plans
Lead capital projects: proposals, funding applications, tendering, construction oversight
Oversee maintenance schedules, safety protocols (OH&S, emergency planning, security) and minor repair programs
Manage janitorial/custodial contracts and leased-facility agreements
Prepare regular reports for College leadership, Board and government ministries
Represent the College on facilities, health & safety and security committees
QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma or journeyperson ticket in a related field + 5 years experience in institutional facilities/project management
WHMIS, OHS Levels 1 & 2 certification; valid drivers licence
Strong budgeting, contract negotiation and team-leadership skills
Excellent communication and collaborative problem-solving abilities
BOMI RPA/FMA or IFMA certifications an asset
The position is a 1 year term, full-time opportunity with the College. The anticipated contract start date is ASAP and ending June 30th, 2026.
