Description

**You MUST be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol Test**

**REQUIRES a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's License with an acceptable driving record**

WE COVER TRANSPORTATION (to-and-from site, out of Saskatoon or Prince Albert), MEALS, & ACCOMMODATION AT SITE.

This role oversees all the housekeeping & janitorial operations at site. He/she works closely with the lodge manager, by leading the housekeeping team to ensure contract standards are always met.

Qualifications:
- At least 2-years of related management experience, including one-year experience related to cleaning, janitorial, and/or maintenance.
- Experience and/or the ability to effectively lead a team.
- Good knowledge of housekeeping and/or janitorial terminology & practices, applicable federal & provincial laws, industry regulations, OH&S.
- Attention to detail; diligent but tactful when enforcing standards.
- Strong time management skills; able to prioritize & complete time sensitive tasks on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Physically able to perform the assigned duties.

Job Responsibilities Include:
- Plan, organize, & direct the daily operations of the housing department.
- Monitor & evaluate the housing teams daily work activities.
- Ensure contract obligations & standards are always met  inspect work areas.
- Train, coach, & supervise staff, including evaluating & managing team members performance.
- Count & record the Housing Department supply inventory, providing final list to Lodge Manager for approval.
- Pick up & deliver supplies to janitorial storage rooms/housing wings and designated drop off/pick up points.
- Creating work schedules.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Things to consider (lets not waste your time):
- Requires 12-hour shifts at a remote northern fly-in mine site.
- Requires compressed workweeks - schedules are 2-week in-and-out rotations.
