The qualified candidate will possess the following skills & certifications:
- Journey person/Red Seal certificate in Automotive Technician;
- Minimum 2nd Year apprenticeship with a recognized institution in Automotive Technician program, preferably with Ford experience;
- Ford Certification would be preferred in one or more of the following areas:
Electrical or Electronic systems
Brakes
Heating & Air Conditioning
Suspension & Steering
Manual Drive Train & Axles
Automatic Transmission & Trans axle
Engine Performance
Engine Repair
- Must have own tools
- Direct and recent working experience in Ford or other automotive service
- Strong computerized diagnostic skills using OEM specific programs
- Proficiency reading and interpreting gasoline/diesel engine and electrical schematics
- Commitment to customer service, pride in quality workmanship and achieving and maintaining high standards.
- Positive and team-oriented attitude
- Valid Class 5 (or equivalent) Drivers License with current abstract
- Qualified Journey persons can opt to be paid straight time with Overtime or flat rate.

We want to meet candidates with Journey person status, 2nd year apprenticeship or higher and Ford experience. Formal apprenticeship training is reimbursed. Wage will be negotiable based on experience. Relocation assistance will be considered where appropriate for Journey person/Red Seal applicants.
