About Us:
River City Plumbing and Heating Ltd is one of Saskatchewan's largest and most trusted mechanical contracting companies, based in North Battleford, Sk. We handled everything from plugged toilets to multi-million dollar commercial projects.

Position Overview:
As the Service Manager & Dispatcher, youll be our front of house. This key role oversees scheduling, customer communication, technician dispatch, and overall workflow coordination to ensure our service team runs efficiently. Youll balance the needs of customers, technicians, and management,  in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities:
-Manage and coordinate daily dispatch of plumbing and HVAC technicians
-Prioritize and schedule service calls based on urgency, location, and technician availability
-Communicate effectively with customers, keeping them updated on service timelines
-Track job progress, manage work orders, and ensure timely completion
-Work closely with the service team to troubleshoot scheduling or job-site issues
-Ensure all service work meets company standards for quality and efficiency
-Collaborate with ownership and office staff to improve operations and customer satisfaction

Qualifications:
-Minimum 3 years of experience in a service management, dispatch, or related operations role (Plumbing/HVAC industry experience strongly preferred)
-Strong organizational and multitasking skills
-Excellent communication and customer service skills
-Proficiency with dispatching software, job tracking tools, and Google Workspace
-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
-Working knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems is a HUGE asset
