Description

SaskExpress Musical Theatre Studio Saskatoon is a high-quality performing arts studio that provides opportunities for students, aged 3 to adult, to train in singing, dancing, and acting in a fun, creative, and inclusive environment. We offer a variety of classes and have successful recreational, performance, and competitive programs that cater to performers of all levels.

We are seeking passionate, experienced, and skilled Dance Instructors to join our team. Teaching contracts will begin in September 2025. Teachers with experience in various genres/dance styles are encouraged to apply (jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, acrobatic arts, musical theatre, lyrical, contemporary). We are currently recruiting for all genres to expand our team! CDTA, RAD, and/or Acrobatic Arts certifications are an asset. The ideal candidates will enjoy working with children and be able to create engaging choreography and foster a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and instruct lesson plans for students of different skill levels and ages, helping them develop their technique, confidence, and love for dance.
- Create choreography tailored to students' skill levels
- Provide constructive feedback and support to students to enhance their performance
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students
- Prepare students for performances, competitions, or examinations (if applicable)
- Adhere to studio policies and safety guidelines

If you have a passion for dance and teaching, we would love to hear from you! Hourly wage will be based on experience. Interested applicants can contact and/or submit a resume to Michelle Garrecht at michelle@saskexpress.com
