Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Part-Time Clerk/Cashier at our Food Store location in Choiceland, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to Food Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
Perform cashing duties, serve guests, pack groceries, stock, and face shelves.
Ensure to keep a clean and well-maintained department; clean up breakage and spills, clean shelves, bins and displays as needed, and keep aisles free of debris.
Knowledge working understanding of the Point-Of-Sale system (POS), accept payments in cash, credit/debit and provide accurate change when necessary.
Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies, procedure, and standards in social responsibility and the selling of age restricted items relating to lottery, liquor.
Monitor code dates to always ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf; follow First in First out (FIFO).
Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
