Description

We are hiring Auto body painter for our client in Yorkton, SK.


Job Duties:

1. Prepare surfaces of vehicles by sanding, masking, priming, and cleaning areas to ensure proper paint adhesion and smooth finishes.
2.Mix and match paint to the exact shade and texture using computerized paint-matching systems and manufacturer specifications.
3.Apply paint coatings including primer, base coat, and clear coat using spray guns or other specialized equipment in a controlled booth environment.
4.Inspect painted vehicles for quality, ensuring even coverage, appropriate drying, and defect-free finishes; perform necessary touch-ups.
5.Maintain painting equipment and spray booths by cleaning nozzles, hoses, and filters regularly and ensuring all tools meet safety standards.
6.Follow safety procedures and environmental regulations while handling hazardous materials like paints, solvents, and thinners.
7.Collaborate with estimators and technicians to review repair plans and confirm that refinishing work aligns with job specifications.
