Description

Saskatchewans premier trade show display, signage and graphics company is looking for a print operator to add to our team.    
Responsibilities:
- General operation of large-format printer, laminator and vinyl plotter equipment
- Read and understand work order/docket instructions for print specifications and schedules
- Select proper job and operation specifications including materials and substrates
- Initiate selection of correct printer profiles and setup
- Submit print files to printer and plotter
- Operate and monitor printer during print run and adjust as needed
- Operate laminating equipment
- Monitor quality control of products being produced
- Monitor maintenance requirements of equipment and identify when service is required
- Monitor and maintain material and ink inventories for restocking
- Maintain clean, safe work area and machines
- Assisting with general office IT support and troubleshooting
- Other duties as assigned could include assisting in setup of displays or assisting in the occasional installation of displays at shows

Qualifications:
- Grade 12
- Previous experience in a print environment
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in use of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Knowledge of Onyx RIP software or related products
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Outlook email
- General computer proficiency
- Attention to detail and quality
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Ability to read work orders carefully and ensure all job details are understood
- Ability to regularly lift items up to 30 lbs.
