The Technician is responsible for supporting all PAGC Departments and communities. Support includes installation and maintenance of workstations, Server administration and network infrastructure maintenance
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Systems and Network Administration, Computer Science or Related discipline. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+ or Microsoft MCP a plus.
- Preference is given to individuals with 3+ years of computer support experience, including installations, maintenance, managing and troubleshooting.
- Strong troubleshooting skills: the ability to isolate problem causes through logic, research and the process of elimination, then implement an acceptable solution without assistance.
- Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 11) and Business Applications (Office 365).
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and to work independently, when required.
- Good Knowledge of current information technology directions, as well as a strong vision of future trends.
- Vehicle and valid driver?s license: Extensive Travel required to various PAGC departments in Prince Albert as well as PAGC First Nations Communities.
- Must undergo a criminal record check, the results of which may influence the decision to employ.
