Description

The director is accountable to the associate vice-president, applied research and innovation for the effective management and leadership of applied research initiatives and the promotion of commercialization and technology transfer opportunities at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. Reporting to the associate vice-president, applied research and innovation, the director has primary responsibility for leadership in the development of applied research and associated institutional certification processes, fostering innovation, and supporting programs in developing applied research initiatives that support student learning and academic programming at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. The director also provides oversight and leadership in applied research grant applications, intellectual property, agreements and contracts.
