MuniCode Services Ltd., based in the thriving City of Warman, Saskatchewan, is hiring a qualified Residential Building Official to join our dedicated team. If you have a passion for ensuring safe and compliant residential construction, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
Review residential construction plans for permit issuance.
Conduct inspections throughout Saskatchewan during construction phases to ensure compliance with the National Building Code, The Construction Codes Act, and related regulations.
Engage with contractors, property owners, and designers to provide clear communication.
Maintain accurate physical and electronic records.
Offer technical guidance on building codes and standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Valid Class 1 or Class 2 Building Official License or a degree/diploma in Engineering or Architectural Technology.
Experience in residential construction or inspections.
Strong knowledge of the National Building Code and provincial regulations.
Valid drivers license.
Proficiency in office software and record-keeping.

Compensation & Schedule:
Salary: Competitive, based on experience and education (to be discussed during the interview).
Hours: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM12:00 PM and 12:30 PM4:30 PM. Overtime, if required, is compensated accordingly.
