Description

The Yellow Thunderbird Lodge  Yorkton Tribal Council Child & Family Services Inc. is seeking an Executive Director.

The position entails overall management of the agency, including the development and implementation of policies, standards, and procedures; oversight of program and service planning, delivery, and evaluation; personnel and fiscal management; and external relations and advocacy. The Executive Director is also responsible for ensuring that the agency's mandate is fulfilled in accordance with applicable legislation surrounding child protection services and the customs, values, and expectations of the Yorkton Tribal Council Child and Family Services Inc. member First Nations.

Qualifications:

1.MSW with administrative experience or BSW with 2 years supervisory experience
2.Minimum of 3 to 5 years child welfare, child & family wellness and prevention planning.
3.Clear knowledge and understanding of the Legislations and Act surrounding Child Protection.
4.Ability to negotiate and work with Indigenous Service Canada (ISC).
5.Ability to negotiate and work with Ministry of Social Services (MSS).
6.Ability to negotiate and work with Member First Nation Governments.
7.Demonstrated knowledge of fiscal, personnel, program and service planning, implementation, administration and evaluation.
8.Ability to work with, plan and support our Member Nations
