Are you a student looking for Fulltime Summer Employment with an above average wage and have a Class 5 Valid Driver's Licence? If you are the Town of Nipawin would like to hear from you.

The Town of Nipawin is in search of one(1) Fulltime Student Labourer. This position will be Monday to Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm with a one (1)hour lunch break as well as two (2) fifteen (15) minute rest periods per day.

The student labourer will report to the General Manager of Operations and Engineering Services under the direct Supervision of the Public Works Supervisor.

The student labourer will perform the following duties, but are not limited to the following:
1. Crack Sealing Asphalt
2. Line and Curb Painting
3. Assist with concrete Installation
4. Use Hand Tools, Power Tools and operation of Municipal vehicles and Equipment
5. Repair and Maintenance of Manholes
6. Comply with the Occupational Health & Safety Program
7. Other general duties as assigned by the foreman
8. Wearing "CSA Approved" footwear at all times will be a condition of employment and
   will be the responsibility of the employee to purchase.
9. Must have a valid Class 5 Drivers License

This position is open to High School and University Students with a valid Class 5 Driver's License. No experience is required as on the job training will be provided.

Work days: Monday to Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm
