Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Pharmasave #406 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.

Job Description:
--Reporting to the Store Operator/Pharmacy Manager, and under the supervision of a pharmacist, this role is responsible for performing specific dispensing functions as outlined by provincial regulations and standards of practice.
--40 hours per week.
--The usual shifts will be Monday to Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:
--Performing specific dispensing functions as outlined by provincial regulations and standards of practice (under the supervision of a pharmacist).
-- Proficient in data entry, workflow coordination, compounding,  blister packing and changes.
--Manage and order inventory (including controlled substances), ensure proper storage, and maintain accurate records
--Independent complex order entry, address insurance claims and billing issues, flag concerns to pharmacists, accurate paperwork submission.
--Perform other tasks as outlined by the pharmacy manager or staff pharmacists.

Qualifications:
--Preference will be given to those who have at least 1-year of retail Pharmacy experience.
--Kroll experience is an asset.
--Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
--Professional attitude and ability to communicate well with customers and co-workers.
--Due to this position's sensitive nature, the successful candidate must complete a Criminal Record Check.
