Description

Conduct on-going surveillance for municipality bylaw infractions related to: animals at large, noisy residents, parking infractions, messy yards, vehicles in alleys, and Parks.
    Must enforce the following Bylaws- Traffic Parking, Animal Control, Dangerous Dog, Property Maintenance, Business Licensing, Signage Regulation, Littering and Noise.
    Respond to calls, complaints, and infractions by interpreting bylaws, conducting investigations, and making appropriate determinations.
    Investigate complaints by: gathering evidence, contacting witnesses, obtaining statements, preparing and issuing maintenance orders.
    Ensure proper and consistent enforcement and compliance of municipal bylaws through explanation, mediation, penalty, and if necessary legal action.
    Provide assistance and information to public regarding bylaw enforcement inquiries.
    Prepare court briefings for charges related to bylaw infractions.
    Manage correspondence with public, courts, legal representatives, and City of Estevan employees.
    Responsible for correspondence and maintaining document and manage case files.
    Other duties as assigned.
