The Ministry of Highways is seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent project management, interpersonal, communication and leadership skills to join the Project Management Support unit of the Project Support Office in Regina or Saskatoon as a term.
The position will play an integral role in supporting the effective delivery of the Ministrys programs and services by supporting the full life cycle of projects, from informing the selection of the appropriate project delivery method to managing the performance data of contractors and consultants used as part of the Best Value initiative.
To qualify for the Project Controller position, you must be eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer or Engineering Licensee with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS).
The ideal candidate will have several years of equivalent experience and general knowledge of contract tendering and administration, contract law, design, construction, maintenance and preservation, operations and project management.
This position is located in Regina or Saskatoon. Other locations may be considered based on space availability and/or operational needs of the ministry.
Travel Required: One to two days a month.
