Key Responsibilities:
Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process in QuickBooks Online.
Produce various accounting reports for internal purposes.
Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll and accounts payable.
Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, and other government documents.
Prepare and submit monthly PST & GST returns.
Perform monthly bank and balance sheet account reconciliations.
Collaborate with our accountant to prepare yearly financial reports.
Required Skills & Experience:
Completion of a recognized program in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field.
A minimum of five years of bookkeeping experience.
Proficiency with QuickBooks Online.
Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial information.
