Key Responsibilities:
Oil and Filter Changes: Draining and replacing engine oil, and replacing oil and air filters.
Lubrication: Greasing and lubricating various parts of vehicles, including moving parts, wheel bearings, and steering systems.
Fluid Checks: Checking and topping off fluids like coolant, brake fluid, and transmission fluid.
Tire Services: Rotating, balancing, and repairing tires.
Basic Maintenance: Checking and replacing filters, wiper blades, and other minor components.
Customer Service: Explaining services and recommending additional maintenance.
Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety rules and procedures.
Record Keeping: Using computer systems for customer service and vehicle maintenance.
