Our team is hiring! We are seeking a friendly team player who enjoys learning new things and working directly with patients. All training will be provided.

Our medical office is looking for a Medical Technician in Moose Jaw. Hours of work will vary week to week based on when a doctor is running clinic. Shifts times will be weekdays, between the hours of 8:00 am-4:30 pm.

As a Medical Technician, you will take patient histories, check their visual acuity, instill drops in their eyes as necessary, and operate diagnostic equipment. You will work independently in a fast-paced environment requiring high attention to detail as you input information into the electronic medical record computer system. In addition, you will assist with other duties such as calling patients, scanning and attaching documents to electronic records, formatting letters, and booking patient appointments.

As the ideal candidate, you are kind and empathetic when working with patients. You are a team player, always looking for ways to keep busy. You ask thoughtful questions and maintain excellent communication at all times. You are proficient with computers and have high attention to detail and accuracy. A background in medical and/or eye anatomy, or experience with Accuro is a definite asset, however not necessary. All training will be provided on-the-job.
