Description

Standing Buffalo School is located in the beautiful QuAppelle Valley and is 102 km east of Regina, Sask.  Standing Buffalo School provides a full range of K-9 programs and services for approximately 120 students.
This position is responsible for the day-to-day administration and management of the school and strong leadership in areas of academic development to ensure that students have high quality learning experiences, strategic planning, operational and capital budgeting, human resources management, staff development, community and government relations, accreditation planning and execution.  This is a full-time position to commence August    2025- June    2026.

QUALIFICATIONS:
*Masters of education would be preferred or combination of 5 years relative work experience and Bachelor of Education would be considered.
*Possess excellent communication skills including written, oral and interpersonal skills
*Have initiative and judgement, confidentiality is imperative
*Possess teamwork, cooperation, planning and monitoring skills
*Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and be able to work with minimum supervision
*Possess commitment to learning, conflict resolution skills
*Prepare annual budgets and provide regular financial reports as required
*Evaluate, monitor and administer Standing Buffalo Staff in accordance with the Standing Buffalo Policy and Procedures Manual.
*Ability to inspire and motivate others, with a commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
*Have a good understanding of First Nation Cultures and Traditions
*Able to work well with Chief and Council, community and families
*Must provide updated Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable sector check
*Provide a valid Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate
*Be willing to undergo a drug test
