Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Classroom Teacher to join our team at our K9 school located on Standing Buffalo. This individual will play a key role in supporting students with diverse learning needs and ensuring inclusive, student-centered education practices are in place throughout the school.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement instructional plans that align with curriculum outcomes.
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Utilize differentiated instruction and accommodations to meet diverse learning needs.
Assess student progress and communicate effectively with families and staff.
Maintain accurate records of student achievement and behaviour.
Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administration to enhance student learning.
Incorporate Dakota perspectives and community values into teaching practice.

Qualifications and Assets:
Bachelor of Education degree and valid teaching certification in Saskatchewan.
Experience working with students of varying abilities and backgrounds.
Knowledge of making accommodations and individualized learning plans is considered a strong asset.
Experience with or ability to complete the Acadience Assessment for English Language Arts (ELA) is an asset.
Strong classroom management skills and a positive, student-centered approach.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
A commitment to ongoing professional development.
