Reporting directly to the Wellness Counselling Supervisor the Wellness Summer Student Worker provides support to the Youth Wellness Counsellors in their summer programming activities. The Summer Youth Support Worker will have their current lifesaving society national lifeguarding certification to help support water-based summer programs.
The Youth Summer Student Worker will possess good communication skills and can communicate effectively with youth.
Wellness Summer Student Worker Requirements:
* Current Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard Certification
* Current Standard First Aid/CPR "C"/AED Certification
* Be a youth between ages 16-30 years
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
* Be able to work flexible hours
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Have some understanding of working with First Nations youth
* A successful criminal record check with vulnerable sector.
