Position Details: 1.0 FTE Continuing Contract (2 positions available)

Term: Commencing the 2025-2026 school year

Current Assignment: Specialized Learning Classroom Teacher

Position Profile:
The Specialized Learning Classroom Teacher will provide targeted, student-centered support in a specialized classroom designed to meet the needs of students with complex behavioural, emotional, and learning needs. The teacher will deliver flexible, inclusive programming grounded in trauma-informed practice and collaborative problem solving. This role includes push-in, pull-out, and co-teaching models, with a focus on fostering student regulation, academic growth, and reintegration into regular classroom environments. The Specialized Learning Classroom Teacher collaborates closely with the school teams, families, and external supports to create a safe, responsive learning environment where students can thrive.
