The Cultural Program Manager is responsible for supervision and coordination of the cultural program including the development, implementation and ongoing delivery of cultural programs in consultation with the Elders, Elders Council, and the Executive Director. This position supervises and provides guidance to the team of all cultural program employees and the Elders Council.
Cultural Program Manager requirements:
Minimum three years' experience supervising others.
Minimum three years program management with experience in budget, workplans, and reporting.
Previous work experience in First Nations communities.
Understanding and knowledge of First Nations traditions and protocols, and strong working knowledge of Cree traditions and protocols, is an asset.
Demonstrates an understanding of the social determinates of health and how they may impact First Nations people.
Education in management, native studies, or a health-related field in combination with experience would be an asset.

Knowledge of the organization (strategic priories, values, goals, services and programs)
Ability to speak and understand the Cree language is a definite asset.
Ability to lead, mentor and support employees.

Ability to adapt to and manage change.
Successful criminal record check with vulnerable sector.
Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan drivers license and ability to travel.
