Key Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the worlds largest high-grade uranium mill. The uranium milled at Key Lake is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world.
Position and Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repair of all gasoline, diesel and propane powered automotive equipment, buses and recreational vehicles on site
Perform inspections and service equipment as specified by preventative maintenance work orders as well as troubleshooting equipment failures
Assist the heavy-duty mechanics in the maintenance of other mobile equipment. This is a temporary position, up to a 6-month term.
Requirements of the position:
-Valid Saskatchewan or interprovincial journeyperson automotive service technician certificate
-Five years related experience in an industrial, mill or mining environment
-Ford-trained mechanic and Ford Integrated Diagnostic System experience
-Rim and tire safety training
-Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Assets:
-Recreation Vehicle Service Technician certification
-Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certification
-SAP experience
