Are you a savvy communicator with a passion for public service and politics? The City of Regina is hiring a Senior Communications Strategist to lead strategic communications and public relations for City Council.
In this dynamic role, youll work directly with ten Councillors to advance Council priorities, create compelling content, and manage communications on key policies and programs. From writing speeches and newsletters to advising on media relations, social media, and public engagement, youll play a vital role in shaping how Council connects with Regina residents.
What Were Looking For:
Proven experience in communications, journalism, or public relations
Strong writing and storytelling skills with political and public affairs insight
Ability to advise on strategic messaging, branding, and media relations
Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-profile environments
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
