The Athabasca Denesuline Education Authority (ADEA) is seeking a Summer Student (Administrative Assistant) to be based at its Central Office in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. In this role, you will provide direct support to Senior Management and Human Resources (HR), and you will be reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. ADEA is a First Nation Education Authority serving the three Denesuline First Nations communities in northern Saskatchewan; Black Lake First Nation, Hatchet Lake First Nation, and Fond Du Lac First Nation. The Authority serves a total student population of approximately 1,400+ students. The Authority is working toward improved educational outcomes by utilizing the latest technology, progressively piloting programs, and integrating Denesuline culture into the classroom and school curriculum.
Position Overview:
Provide direction related to information flow and service delivery efficiently and effectively
Prepare accurate letters, memos, and correspondence within deadlines
Process incoming and outgoing mail, and maintain electronic and manual filing system according to protocol
Process other office administrative clerical procedures such calendar management, scheduling appointments, drafting correspondences/messages, and onboarding/offboarding HR processes.
