Reporting to the Coordinator of Student Achievement and Supports, the Speech-Language Pathologist will work in a team environment with other professional staff in the diagnosis and treatment of articulation, language, voice and fluency problems experienced by students. The successful candidate will also provide consultative services in the areas of speech and language for teachers and parents of students within our PK-12 school system. The position commences August 25, 2025.
Applicants must possess a Masters Degree in Speech & Language Pathology and must be eligible for, and licensed by, the College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Saskatchewan (CSASK). Experience working with children and youth in an educational setting would be an asset. Individuals will be required to use their personal vehicle, for which reimbursement of travel expenses is provided.
The successful candidate will be able to:
Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills combined with the ability to work effectively in a team environment;
Implement and support the Response to Intervention Service Delivery Model;
Provide screening, assessment, and consultation and write comprehensive reports;
Provide strategies for classroom teachers to support their students;
Provide support to designated educational support staff in the delivery of communication
programs;
Show a commitment to individual and organizational accountability; and
Provide workshops and in-services as needed.
