Job Summary:

Are you an experienced Internal Auditor with interest and specialization in IT?  If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a permanent, full-time Senior Internal Auditor at Saskatchewan Workers Compensation Board in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Looking for a motivated and experienced professional to join our team, we are seeking a candidate that brings experience and/or knowledge in:

    Planning and performing of testing IT General Controls (ITGC) and application controls.
    Leveraging IT technology (audit software) and data analytics to assist and support in internal audit processes, efficiencies and insights.
    Developing procedures and audit programs in areas including risk management, internal controls, and advisory opportunities.
    Completing assurance and advisory internal audit engagements.
    Planning, conducting and documenting risk-based operational, financial, IT, Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICOFR) and performance audits.
    Support and participate in highly sensitive investigations.
    Identifying new business solutions and operational efficiencies.
    Applying sound professional judgement in risk identification and providing insightful recommendations that have a positive impact on business operations and strategies.
    Leading assurance and advisory engagements, helping to drive meaningful improvements across the organization.

Qualifications:
A Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting or other related equivalent and/or accounting/audit/risk related designation (CPA, CIA, CFE, CISA).
    A minimum of five (5) years related experience supervising and/or executing audit assignments for large, complex entities.
    Demonstrated knowledge of Public Sector Accounting Standards, Global Internal Audit Standards  Code of Ethics, internal controls and leading management practices, etc.
    Team player with the ability to build and maintain strategic relationships both internal and external to WCB.
