In collaboration with the Primary Health Care clinic team, the nurse practitioner will provide primary health care services to clients of the Co-operative Health Centre in Prince Albert.
This includes: health promotion and protection, disease and injury prevention, provision of supportive, instructive, treatment and urgent care services; collaboration with and referral to other health care professionals; conducting community needs assessments and participating in evaluative projects.
The RN (NP) leads or collaborates with other health-care team members, other sectors and/or the community in initiatives that promote health and reduce the risk of complications, illness and injury for their individual clients, client groups and/or the population as a whole.
Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized Nursing Education Program.
Current registration or eligible for registration with the SRNA as an RN (NP)
2 3 years experience as a Primary Care Nurse or Nurse Practitioner is an asset.
