Now Hiring: Full-Time Mentorship Coordinator Nitisan & Nisimis Program (Big Brother/Big Sister)
Start Date: August 25, 2025 (202526 School Year)
Wage: $25$30/hour, with potential for flex time depending on experience and education
MFNCS is seeking a dedicated Mentorship Coordinator to lead the Nitisan & Nisimis Program. This role supports in-school and after-school activities that foster personal growth, cultural identity, and essential life skills for youth, especially those at risk.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and evaluate youth programming and mentorship activities
Supervise mentors and support youth development through cultural, emotional, and life skills training
Work collaboratively with school staff and community partners
Perform administrative duties including record keeping, budgeting, and reporting
Qualifications:
Experience working with youth and/or in program coordination
Strong understanding of Indigenous culture and youth development
Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Background in Social Work or related field is an asset
