POSITION SUMMARY: This position is bound by the Social Work Code of Ethics. The Child Protection Worker is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families by following policies, regulations, and mandates related to child welfare. The role involves conducting assessments, managing case files, engaging with community agencies and resources, and advocating for childrens best interests. The Child Protection Worker will act as QBOWs liaison between in-community and outside-community agencies, schools, programs, and services. They will work closely with families, providing intervention, support, and recommendations to promote stability and reunification where possible.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Indigenous Social Work/Social Work
Five (5) years' experience supervisor/management in child welfare
Best practicing Child Family Service delivery
Submission of current CPIC & Vulnerable Sector Check
Valid Class 5 Drivers License and a reliable vehicle
Maintain Confidentiality - Sign Oath of Confidentiality
