Position Description: The incumbent will provide Mental Health clinical services to a primarily adult population. These services will be delivered through a combination of direct services, consultation, community resource development and education. The incumbent will work as part of an interdisciplinary team. The Social Worker, BSW reports directly to the Supervisor of Adult Community Services or his/her designate.

Salary or Pay Band:  Pay Band Social Worker - BSW $35.137 to $42.966

Education:
- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)
Licenses:
- Valid Class 5 driver's license

Knowledge & Abilities:
- Knowledge in individual, family, group, and crisis counselling methods
- Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Knowledge in assessment, treatment, and consultation
- Ability to prepare reports in a clear, concise and timely manner.
- Ability to act professionally, ethically and provide sound judgement
- Ability to work independently
