Position Overview:  We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our team. The Sterilization Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our dental instruments and equipment, ensuring the highest standards of infection control and patient safety. Responsibilities:  Adhere to infection control protocols and guidelines, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.  Dental treatment room cleaning, disinfection, set-up and shut down.  Safe transportation of dirty instruments from the treatment room to the sterilization area.  Disinfection, cleaning, packaging, labelling, and sterilizing reusable dental instruments and devices.   Operate and maintain sterilization equipment such as instrument washers, sonic sinks, cart washers and steam autoclaves to clean and disinfect trays, carts, linens, supplies, instrumentation and equipment for re-use according to standardized safety practices.  Sterilization assurance monitoring and documentation, including mechanical, chemical, biological, and air removal testing and monitoring.  Reassemble equipment and assemble packs of sterile supplies and instruments for delivery to dental treatment rooms.  Prepare treatment rooms and assist dental assistants and hygienists in setting up for procedures.  General cleaning and maintenance of dental equipment.
