Description

The City of Prince Albert is currently accepting applications for multiple casual positions of Guest Service Attendant in the Parks, Recreation & Culture Department.The Guest Service Attendant is responsible for the operation of the Box Office at the EA Rawlinson Centre and front of house coordination as well as other general clerical tasks and other duties at the Centre. The Guest Service Attendant reports directly to the General Manager or designate and works in conjunction with the administrative and technical staff, as well as the Volunteer Company. The Guest Service Attendant is often the first point of contact with the public and is an essential part of the customer service of the Centre.

These casual positions will mostly involve working evening and weekend hours. We are looking for a Guest Service Attendant that can work every Saturday from September to December.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain an operational knowledge of ticketing and event software.
Provide excellent customer service including the sale of tickets through the box office.
Reconcile cash balances and summary reports for events as requested by the General Manager or designate.
Maintain sufficient knowledge of ticket pricing, event information and allocation of complimentary tickets.
Provide ticket sales updates to promoters and renters as requested.
Answer phone calls and emails received through the Box Office.
Assist in providing information to and scheduling of volunteers for events and bar service.
Provide support to visiting artists as required.
Perform general clerical tasks.
Inventory coordination.
Program coordination.
Take part in relevant training requirements for ticketing systems, safety procedures, etc.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Grade 12
Two years customer service experience.
Knowledge of Performing Arts and Theatre Protocols an asset.
