Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Bookkeeper / Accounting Technician with additional experience in personal taxation. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks independently, and have a solid understanding of accounting principles and tax preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records and perform bookkeeping duties.
Prepare personal tax returns and related documentation.
Assist with payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end procedures including GST and PST filings.
Provide exceptional client service and support.
Qualifications & Experience:
Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounting, and personal tax preparation.
Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, AgExpert, Sage) and MS Office Suite.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage deadlines effectively.
