Position Title & # Of Vacancies: Carpenter (1 Position)

Job Details

Tasks:

- Finish carpentry, including baseboard, trim and cabinetry installation
- Door, window installation and finishing
- Construct concrete forms, re-bar, place and finish concrete
- Masonry skills in brick, concrete and stucco
- Large scale interior and exterior painting
- Construct medical grade containment and hoarding to meet IPAC standards
- Mould abatement and critical clean
- Carpentry skills in commercial and institutional framing and back framing

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently. Physically fit. Able to lift minimum 50 lb. Able to work at heights. Excellent attention to detail. Repetitive tasks. Work with minimal Supervision

Wage: $24.28 per hour

Skills Requirements

Education:  Completion of secondary education is usually required or equivalent experience.

Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in Carpentry Industry. Experience in both health care and commercial construction sectors in an institutional environment is an asset.
