The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will support the production and facility operations by maintaining equipment, identifying and resolving issues, and contributing to a safe, efficient, and high-performing work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair systems and controls on equipment
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
Maintain and upgrade equipment to meet safety standards and production needs
.Assist with mechanical maintenance and equipment installations
Work closely with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime
Adhere to company policies and safety protocols
Qualifications:
Red Seal Journeyman Electrician certification (required)
Strong knowledge of schematics and control systems
Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Mechanically inclined with experience in an industrial or food processing environment considered an asset
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong commitment to workplace safety and food safety practices
