Are you passionate about the environment and ready to make a real impact? The City of Regina is hiring a Waste Minimization Officer to support innovative waste diversion programs and promote sustainable practices across our community.

In this dynamic role, youll help develop, deliver, and evaluate waste minimization initiatives that reduce landfill use and encourage recycling and reuse. Youll engage with the public, businesses, and internal teams to educate, build partnerships, and support bylaw compliancecontributing directly to a cleaner, greener Regina.

What Were Looking For:

A degree or diploma in Science, Engineering, Geography, Commerce, or a related field

Knowledge of waste reduction, recycling, and solid waste management practices

Strong communication skills, including public speaking and report writing

Experience with outreach, education, and environmental program delivery

A valid drivers licence and willingness to work outdoors and on flexible schedules
